To ensure long-term performance, safety, and warranty compliance of your solar system, please follow these usage and maintenance guidelines.
Legal Notice: This System Care Guide outlines the minimum care and usage standards required to maintain warranty eligibility. Non-compliance with any of these guidelines may result in partial or full denial of warranty claims. Deeds Solar reserves the right to assess damage and determine whether a warranty claim is valid based on adherence to this guide.
This care guide is part of your official warranty agreement. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in voided warranty.

Don’ts – What NOT to Do
Solar Panels
- Do not block panels with structures, trees, or objects.
- Do not walk, sit, or place items on panels.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning tools or chemicals.
Inverter / Controller
- Do not expose to rain, salt spray, or direct sunlight if not rated for it.
- Do not tamper with wiring or settings.
- Do not run overloaded appliances on undersized systems.
Batteries
- Do not install on bare ground or in flood-prone areas.
- Do not let batteries fully drain and sit unused.
- Do not open, rewire, or add batteries without approval.
- Do not ignore inverter low-battery alarms.
- Do not allow animals near battery or inverter boxes.
General System
- Do not relocate or expand system without consulting Deeds Solar.
- Do not delay reporting issues — early intervention prevents damage.
- Do not assume Deeds Solar monitors your system remotely (unless you have a monitoring plan).
- Do not bypass or remove breakers and fuses.
Notification Requirement
- If the system is not functioning properly, or it shut down, or there is a serious problem with the batteries, or if the batteries have remained discharged for more than 24 hours, the customer must notify Deeds Solar immediately. Delayed reporting may result in avoidable damage and loss of warranty coverage.
Additional Notes
- Inverters and batteries not fully sealed must be protected from lizards, geckos, and insects. Animal-related damage is not covered by warranty.
- Customers who request installations in non-ideal locations (e.g. basements, outdoors, near wash areas) accept the risk of premature damage.
